Configure BoloSign's settings for collecting responses, generating PDFs, verifying emails, and customizing the post-signing experience to fit your needs.

BoloSign offers versatile settings that allow you to tailor your forms and documents to suit your specific requirements. From collecting responses and generating PDFs to verifying respondent emails and customizing the post-submission experience, these settings ensure a seamless and efficient workflow. Whether you want to manage notifications, adjust language preferences, or redirect respondents after signing, BoloSign provides all the tools you need for effective document management and enhanced user experience.

Basic Settings

  1. Collect responses of the respondent, if you disable this setting we won't send the generated PDF to the respondent

  2. If you want to verify the email of the respondent you can enable this, we currently support Google Sign verification, which means the person has to sign in through their Google account to fill out the form.

  3. If you don't want to receive notifications when someone fills out the form, you can disable this setting.


Response PDF Settings

  1. If you don't want to generate a PDF after a form is submitted you can disable this setting.

  2. By default, we generate PDFs in English but we support the following languages as well in PDF generation. If you can't find your language you can request here for it to be added. We will try it to add within a week or so.

    1. French

    2. German

    3. Arabic

    4. Hebrew

    5. Chinese

    6. Dutch

    7. Indonesian

    8. Japanese

    9. Portuguese

    10. Spanish

    11. Thai

  3. If you want to send a copy of the generated document to someone else other than you and the respondent of the form you can add emails here

  4. You can also set the name of the PDF that would be generated once a person has finished signing the form.


Presentation Setting

  1. You can change the text which is visible after the form is submitted.

  2. Redirection URL is used to redirect your signees to your desired page once they finish signing the form.

1. What happens if I disable "Collect responses"?
If you disable this setting, the generated PDF will not be sent to the respondent after form submission.

2. How can I enable email verification for respondents?
Enable the "Email Verification" setting to require respondents to log in through their Google account to fill out the form.

3. Can I disable notifications for form submissions?
Yes, you can turn off notifications by disabling the notification setting in Basic Settings.

4. Is it possible to disable PDF generation after form submission?
Yes, you can disable the "Response PDF Settings" to prevent PDF generation after a form is submitted.

5. Which languages are supported for PDF generation?
PDFs are generated in English by default, but supported languages include French, German, Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Dutch, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Thai. If your language isn’t available, you can request it to be added.

6. Can I send the generated PDF to additional recipients?
Yes, you can add email addresses to send a copy of the generated document to recipients other than you and the respondent.

7. How do I customize the name of the generated PDF?
You can specify a custom name for the PDF in the "Response PDF Settings" section.

8. What is the purpose of the Redirection URL?
The Redirection URL redirects signees to a specific webpage after they finish signing the form.

9. Can I customize the message displayed after form submission?
Yes, the text shown after submission can be modified under "Presentation Settings."
