Thinking of Cancelling? Read This First.

We understand—sometimes priorities shift, budgets change, or new tools come into play. But before you go, it’s important to know what canceling your BoloSign subscription really means: all your documents, templates, responses, and settings will be permanently deleted.

Steps to Cancel Your BoloSign Subscription

1. Go to Your Dashboard

Log in to your BoloSign account and land on the main dashboard, where you’ll see all features like “Create,” “Overview,” and “Billings.” This is your control center.

2. Open the Billing Section

Click on “Billings” from the left sidebar. You’ll see your current plan status, usage stats (like how many documents/templates you've used), and action buttons like “Cancel Plan.”

3. Click “Cancel Plan”

At the bottom of the billing info card, click “Cancel Plan.” This triggers the cancellation flow and ensures you don’t accidentally cancel without confirmation.

4: Talk to Support Before You Continue

After clicking Cancel Plan, you’ll see “Let’s solve a big problem together 🤝”.
Choose Let’s Chat for a free 1:1 call with our BoloSign team to talk through what's not working and see if there's a way to fix it before you leave.
Prefer to continue? Click Decline to skip the offer and proceed with cancellation.

5: Confirm Your Pause Subscription

After submitting your feedback, As part of the cancellation flow, you'll be offered the chance to "pause your subscription" option.

Need a Short Break? Pause Instead

If you’re planning to take a short break from BoloSign, you don’t have to cancel your subscription. Pausing puts your subscription on hold for 1 to 3 months and you can pick it back up whenever you're ready.

Why pause instead of cancel?

  • Your documents, templates, signatures and workspace stay exactly as you left them.

  • Nothing gets deleted - your subscription just takes a short break.

  • Once the pause ends, billing and your quota resume automatically and you're right back where you left off.

If you just need a 1–3 month break , pausing is the easier call. there's no reason to start from scratch when you're back.

Select how long you'd like to pause, anywhere from 1 month to 3 months and your subscription resumes when the period ends. Your documents, templates, signatures and workspace settings stay exactly as you left them.

6: Complete the Cancellation

If pausing isn’t what you need, continue with the cancellation and confirm when prompted.
Once your account is closed, your documents, templates, signatures, and data will be permanently deleted and can’t be restored.
Before cancelling, please download anything you’d like to keep.

Conclusion

We’re truly sorry to see you go. If you choose to cancel your subscription, please be aware that this action will permanently delete all your saved documents, templates, signatures, and account data.

This means you won’t be able to access any of your files or restore your workspace in the future.

If there’s any chance you might return later, we recommend pausing your subscription instead—this way, everything stays intact and ready when you’re back.
